Introducing: The Thirsty Horse Mobile Bar

As the saying goes, not all superheroes wear capes. Indeed, many wear medical scrubs and stethoscopes and we’ve needed these superheroes to work their magic more than ever in recent years.

Vivian Sanz is one such superhero.

A nurse by day, she has worked throughout the pandemic, giving her all to help those in her care. “These last couple of years were so emotionally taxing on me,” she told Roll To, “I needed an escape, a change, something that could light up my life again.”

So, alongside her nursing duties, Vivian decided to use her gifts for bringing people together, caring for others and fostering community to begin a mobile bar business – The Thirsty Horse.

“I’d always dreamt of owning my own business but was too afraid of leaving the stable 9-5 career. But I took the big leap and just ran, ran forward without looking back and without letting fear hold me down. I’ve loved every second of this adventure.”

The Thirsty Horse has been the perfect outlet for Vivian’s talents.

Much like her nursing career, Vivian’s mobile bar allows her to bond with people and ensure that they’re happy, all whilst having fun herself at the same time.

“My favorite part of the business is connecting with people. Connections is what I push and what I practice. I like to leave events feeling like my clients have accepted me in like family. My favorite events are the ones where a guest pulls me out from behind the bar to dance with them”.

When she’s not joining in on the dancefloor, Vivian can be found serving signature cocktails from a converted 1970s horse trailer, lovingly referred to as ‘Magnus’.

The bar’s revamped, sleek, modern exterior is complemented by cream accents and clean white walls. The bar is extremely stylish and adds a touch of class to proceedings.

The Thirsty Horse Mobile Bar is also super versatile, having been dressed up and deployed at all sorts of events, ranging from rustic ranch weddings to backyard Halloween parties and hot cocoa Christmas celebrations.

Coupled with Vivian’s amazing bartending skills (check out some examples of her signature cocktails over on Instagram), it’s no wonder that The Thirsty Horse has been an instant success, with many dates in 2022 already reserved well in advance.

Holiday parties and 2023 event planners are urged to secure their dates with The Thirsty Horse as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

On top of a fully booked year, Vivian has further big plans for her mobile bar business.

“We’re launching our very own line of cocktail mixers and garnishes, named ‘Local Sips’, using fresh citrus fruits from local farms. We’ll be debuting at the Female Makers Market convention next month.”

If Vivian’s early achievements are anything to go by, ‘Local Sips’ will be a sweet addition to The Thirsty Horse’s offerings.
