Founded in 2019, Adelante Mobile Wine Bar is truly a family affair.
The business is run by husband and wife duo, Chris and Vanessa Zamora, as well as Vanessa's brother, Eli Zamora.
You're also likely to find brothers, sisters, moms, dads and cousins helping out on event day.
"We started Adelante out of a love for meeting and helping people, beautiful event aesthetics and of course, wine!" says Chris, who converted a 1958 trailer into a rolling bar for hire.
The family have served at over 30 events, including engagement parties, charity balls, weddings and birthday parties.
"The pandemic was a difficult time for us as the events that we had scheduled were suddenly cancelled or pushed back indefinitely.
But, 2022 is beginning to pick up pace and we have plenty of bookings lined up over the coming months."
"Joining the Roll To community has been great for us.
We've had couples reach out to us about catering their weddings, a bride to be book us for her bridal shower and for the first time we'll be working a large corporate event after being introduced to a top television network by the Roll To concierge team.
We'll be catering a Thirsty Thursday event on their studio lot as entertainment teams start to head back to working in the office.
We may have to call on some cousins to help us out with that gig as it's a big one!"
The Adelante team is happy to cater any type of event in almost any location that they can fit into.
Whilst recommending wine pairings are what they enjoy most, Adelante are happy to serve cocktails, liquor, beer, non-alcoholic drinks, snacks, baked goods and anything else the occasion calls for.
The trailer has even been used as a photo and DJ booth.
“Just let us know your requirements and we’ll make it happen!”
“To be honest, any event where we have helped put smiles on peoples faces (which we like to think is most of them!) are our favorites.
We've seen couples get married and then party in front of our bar with their friends and family, we've had charities raise money for their causes by serving coffee and doughnuts from our window and we've had Adelante featured in awesome fashion photo shoots.
Every event has honestly been so fun to be a part of.”
“Well, as much as we love intimate, one-off events, Roll To have helped us to secure a large corporate gig which we are hoping will become a recurring piece of business for us.
Corporate events is something that we're super excited about getting into this year.”
“It is definitely hard work but is also really rewarding.
Transforming our 80s trailer into a mobile wine bar took a lot of effort but to be able to work alongside my family whilst serving at amazing events is a blast.
My best advice would be to do your research before starting your build and your business.
Try to speak with other mobile vendors and pick their brains for advice on how to approach your bar conversion, where to source materials, what to serve, local rules & regulations etc.
The community is super helpful once you get to know them.
In terms of marketing, we basically relied on word of mouth prior to the pandemic.
Since then we've truned to other forms of marketing such as social media as well as joining Roll To. It has definitely helped us to be found by more people and be put in touch with larger clients.”
