When Chris, Vanessa and Eli, owners of Adelante Mobile Wine Bar and lifetime residents of the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles were asked to serve at an engagement party held at Valley Relics Museum, they jumped at the opportunity.
This was a chance to deliver their mobile bar services whilst being surrounded by cherished childhood memories.
"Pulling in to the Valley Relics Museum was like walking down memory lane for us. It's full of iconic neon signs and billboards from shops and bars that we would visit as kids.
It's such a quintessentially Los Angeles place. We felt really lucky to be part of this event" Chris told us.
Valley Relics Museum was founded by San Fernando Valley native, Tommy Gelinas, who continues to curate and operate the space.
The collection includes rare documents, photographs, vintage neon signs, post cards, yearbooks, negatives, clothing, books, art, automobiles and BMX bikes from The Valley's past.
The Valley Relics Museum is a nonprofit organization 501(c)3 with an endeavor to preserve and protect local history and it's artifacts while educating the public on the rich history of The San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas.
Not only are the museum pieces that fill the old aircraft hangar's walls iconic, but they also serve as a beautiful backdrop for parties, with photo opportunities available everywhere you stand.
And as you can see from the event photos below, the Adelante bar fits right in.
Adelante served up beer, wine, soft drinks and small bites to around 100 guests.
Vanessa was pouring drinks and serving guests on the night.
"It was surreal to be amongst all of these amazing museum pieces and yet people were still taking selfies with our bar - it just shows you what a cute mobile bar can add to your already amazing event!".
